Well-established flocks of turkeys are found on each of our properties. 2010 will be the first year that hunters other than family members have been allowed to hunt the flourishing flocks of turkeys. Both Rio Grande and Eastern turkeys can be found at Heartland Trophy Hunts. Each type is just considered a turkey in regards to Kansas turkey hunting regulations.
We supplement the surrounding farmland and also plant additional food plots to attract and hold our turkey populations. Turkey hunts are available in both spring and fall.
